Quads
Each year, the Berkeley Chess School runs several USCF-rated Quad Tournaments. A Quad is a group of four players of similar playing strength. Each participant plays one game against each other member of his/her Quad (a total of three games), and the top scorer in each group receives a trophy.
We hold six Quads in Berkeley each year, and two in Walnut Creek.
The next quad will be held in Berkeley on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
