2021 BCS SpringCamp online now open for registration!

The Berkeley Chess School will be holding Spring camp programs online throughout April 5th-9th! We will offer 9am, 10am, 1pm, 3pm,and 3:30pm camps starting the week of Apr 5th, through Apr 9th. For our online camps, the students will use zoom and lichess.org. We also offer flexible one day options! Camps will be taught by our experienced and engaging instructors, including BCS favorites Coach Neal, Mr. Chess, Coach Poehlmann and others. for more information, and to register, click on the link below.

BCS Spring Camp novice 9am online, Monday- Friday, 9am-10am

BCS Spring Camp Intermediate 10am online, Monday- Friday, 10am-11:30am

BCS Spring Camp Intermediate 1pm online, Monday- Friday, 1pm-2:30pm

BCS Spring Camp Intermediate 3pm online, Monday- Friday, 3pm-4:30pm

BCS Spring Camp Advanced 1pm online, Monday- Friday, 1pm-2:30pm

BCS Spring Camp Advanced 3:30pm online, Monday- Friday, 3:30pm-5pm

2020 Berkeley Online Summer Camp now open for registration!

The Berkeley Chess School will be holding summer camp programs online throughout the summer! We will offer beginner, intermediate and advanced camps starting the week of June 8, through August 14. For our online camps, the students will use zoom and lichess.org. Camps will be taught by our experienced and engaging instructors, including BCS favorites Coach Neal, Coach Doyle, Coach Poehlmann and others. There will be a special week taught by BCS Alum and 2018 U.S.Chess Champion, Grand Master Sam Shankland! For more information, and to register, click on the links below.

Novice (Beginner) Camp, Monday- Friday, 9:00-10:00

Intermediate Camp, Monday- Fridays 10:00-12:00

Advanced Camp, Monday- Friday, 1:00-3:00

We also have chess camps in cities nearby. Registration is taken through each city’s Recreation and Parks departments for camps in Benicia, El Cerrito, Orinda, Piedmont, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton and San Ramon.  In Albany, we will hold chess camp at the UC University Village (register through UC). Schedules for these camps are on hold for now, due to safety concerns around Covid-19. We will be update the schedules as we get more information.
