GM Hans Niemann has had an amazing 2021!

First earning the GM Title!!

Then winning the World Open!

Then winning the US Junior Championship (Qualifying for the 2022 US Championship!)

Currently Hans is ranked 6th in the world of all Juniors. (and climbing rapidly!)

In 2022 for the second year in a row, Hans has won a prestigious Samford Chess Fellowship, with funding for coaching, materials, and opportunities to travel and compete in tournaments and matches at the highest levels.
